THE FALL
Has anyone ever heard the old saying, "The bigger the build up the harder the fall?" Some of you may be feeling the fall now that Christmas is over. Usually by the time halloween is here we begin to anticipate Christmas. That gives us roughly 2 months to prepare for 1 day. The shopping, the baking, the wrapping, work parties, family parties, school events, it all leads up to 1 single day. The fall might be felt quite a bit harder by those predisposed to depression, whereas others might sit back and take a deep sigh of relief that it's finally over. Of coarse there is still New Years for the die hard holiday lovers. Whatever category you fall into, reality can hit hard. We must take it in stride and go with the flow, don't fight it. Look at it as you have made new Christmas memories and be grateful for the time you were able to spend with loved ones. Do you have any New Years resolutions? Do you believe in making resolutions? I have a couple of things floating around in my head, but I don't actually have a "plan" to bring them to life yet. I will talk more about that in the next couple of days. Until then, I hope everyone had a good Christmas and is thankful for all your blessings!
