STRESS FREE HOLIDAY TIP #3
Take a walk. Get outside and revive yourself. You might be surprised what a breath of fresh air can do! It doesn't have to be a long walk, just a few minutes will do. Even if it's the winter season where you live, let the cold air motivate you for an even more brisk walk. Being outside, as opposed to the gym or a treadmill, is also helpful to those that suffer with Depression or Seasonal Affective Disorder. Exercise gets those "feel good" brain chemicals in motion and being outside awakens your senses which may be on mute due to a mood disorder. So, take 10 or 15 minutes to escape the hustle and bustle and feel the rays from the sun, feel the fresh air blow across your face. Stop and smell the roses - literally!
